Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Gemini Exchange is a leading cryptocurrency exchange and custody platform founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, dedicated to providing secure, compliant, and efficient digital asset trading and custody services to individual and institutional clients. Our Los Angeles subsidiary officially opened in February 2026, focusing on short‑term cryptocurrency trading and innovative strategies, aiming to become a leading platform for digital asset trading on the West Coast.

Position Summary As Gemini's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will lead global marketing strategy, shape brand vision, and drive user growth and market expansion. This position requires a marketing leader with both strategic vision and execution capabilities, capable of building a differentiated brand presence in the rapidly evolving Web3 and fintech industry, and accelerating company growth through innovative digital marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute Gemini's global brand strategy, aligning it with the company's mission, compliance culture, and growth goals.

Establish brand positioning, core messaging framework, and marketing communication strategies.

Enhance Gemini's trust and reputation in the crypto finance market through a consistent brand experience.

Design and implement user acquisition, activation, and retention strategies to drive growth in transaction volume and customer lifetime value.

Lead multi‑channel marketing campaigns (digital advertising, social media, content, SEO/SEM, community, events, public relations).

Collaborate with product and growth teams to develop innovative go‑to‑market strategies.

Establish a data analytics system to measure the ROI and KPIs (CAC, LTV, Conversion Rate, etc.) of various marketing campaigns.

Drive a data‑driven decision‑making culture and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness using A/B testing and analytics tools.

Lead and develop the marketing team, fostering a high‑performing, agile, and innovative organizational culture.

Work with sales, product, legal, and public relations teams to ensure marketing strategies are implemented within a compliant framework.

Manage external agencies, PR firms, and strategic partners.

Represent Gemini at industry conferences, media interviews, and community events to strengthen the company's thought leadership in the Web3 ecosystem.

Continuously monitor competitive dynamics and policy trends, providing management with market insights and strategic advice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of experience in marketing or brand strategy, including at least 5 years in a senior management position in the technology or finance industry.

In‑depth understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, digital finance, and the regulatory environment is preferred.

Proficient in digital marketing, brand management, social media, content strategy, and user growth.

Excellent strategic thinking, communication skills, and team leadership.

Capable of driving innovation, making rapid decisions, and achieving results under high‑pressure environments.
