Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and development of precision mechanical systems used in next‑generation semiconductor and display equipment. This hands‑on leadership role involves owning the full product lifecycle—from concept design and prototyping to production release—while mentoring junior engineers and shaping the future of our mechanical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of mechanical assemblies, precision components, and enclosures that meet the high standards of semiconductor and display equipment.

Drive engineering excellence across concept design, CAD modeling, prototyping, validation, and release to manufacturing.

Apply best practices in GD&T, tolerance stack‑up, materials selection, and thermal/structural analysis.

Partner closely with electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Oversee design reviews, risk assessments, and DFM/DFT improvements to optimize reliability, cost, and manufacturability.

Serve as a mentor and technical leader for junior engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.

Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective production.

Investigate and resolve issues discovered in testing and production through structured root cause analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

8+ years of mechanical engineering experience with a focus on product design and precision systems (semiconductor or capital equipment experience strongly preferred).

Advanced proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks or equivalent) and PDM systems.

Strong expertise in thermal management, materials science, precision machining, and structural analysis.

Demonstrated success taking products from concept through production in high‑tech industries.

Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
