Join Electrical Reliability Services, Inc. as an Electrical Services Sales Engineer in Pleasanton. Provide sales and marketing support to meet regional goals, develop proposals, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Perform sales support to consistently meet overall area sales goals.
Make regular sales calls on existing major accounts and establish contact with new accounts.
Deliver effective customer presentations and ensure accurate, technically correct proposal pricing.
Support marketing to promote the company’s image throughout the industry.
Implement area‑marketing plan on a monthly basis.
Assist corporate with new service assessments, marketing research and literature development.
Engage in public relations to promote sales.
Participate in trade shows and professional societies.
Give presentations for the company’s Training Services and Speaker’s Bureau.
Serve as a member of the Area Management Committee.
Develop the area sales and marketing plan and bring new ideas to sales activities.
Manage proposal development, pipeline, and lead follow‑ups.
Account manage electrical contractors and end users.

Qualifications
Graduate engineer (BSEE/BSME) with no experience, OR graduate of electrical technical school or equivalent with five years of similar work, OR high school diploma with eight years of similar work.
Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and occasional overnight travel to cover sales territory.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of electrical industry and sales processes.
Physical Requirements
Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle tools, and operate equipment.
Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds.
Valid driver’s license required.
Environment & Travel
Travel: Approximately 25% of time.
Work environment: Mix of office and field visits to customer sites.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range for this role in California is $113,300–$141,625 per year. The role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401(k). Additional details will be provided during the hiring process.
