We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality care to children born up to age three. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy programs to improve the child's mobility and function. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, problem‑solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Lee’s Developmental Services is looking for licensed Physical Therapists to service in Essex County. Our practitioners may also serve children in Passaic, Sussex, Middlesex, and Union.
Responsibilities
Evaluate the child to determine physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans.
Implement therapy programs to improve child mobility, strength, and function.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
Educate families on proper therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
Maintain accurate records of patient progress and documentation.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Participate as part of a multidisciplinary service delivery team, training parents and staff.
Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and valid state licensure.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to multitask and handle a high‑volume workload.
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Valid driver’s license.
Requires reliable transportation to travel to families’ homes.
Rates are negotiable.
