VACO Atlanta has partnered with an impressive law firm in Midtown Atlanta in their search for a skilled Litigation Paralegal. The paralegal is responsible for case management from start to finish. The successful candidate will be able to aid during all phases of the litigation process. Since in-office work is required, only candidates who live in the metropolitan Atlanta, GA area will be considered.
Responsibilities
Proficient in multi-state court procedures and filing requirements, including e-filing in state and federal courts.
Performadministrative duties, including calendar hearings, court, and discovery deadlines.
Draftcourt documents and medical chronologies.
Conductlegal research.
Requirements
2 or 4-year degree, paralegal certification, or relevant experience.
A minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience is REQUIRED.
Must possess a solid understanding of the litigation life cycle.
Must have exceptional attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Need to be comfortable using technology with the ability to pick up new software quickly.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
