The Campus Center, housed within Hammond Hall, offers itself as a place where students can spend time socializing and expanding themselves outside the classroom. Hammond Hall houses everything from offices and services for students, to the Gallucci-Cirio Library, North Street Bistro and the Bookstore. Event Support Services (ESS) is a group of the Campus Center Staff that offer an array of event and hospitality services for events, programs and other functions within Hammond Hall. Staff will rotate through various job assignments such as arranging room and event set?ups, providing AV and technical assistance at events, and serving beverages and maintaining security during events where alcohol is being provided. The ESS is an area of the Campus Center and the Staff reports to the Manager of ESS, and the Associate Director of Campus Center Operations. Requirements Assist with the operation of the Hammond Hall Provide friendly quality customer service to patrons Must be able to work well in both an independent and team setting Effective verbal and written communication skills Other duties as assigned Be familiar with Event Management System (EMS) to check reservation setups Must be able to lift tables, chairs and staging of various weights Set meeting and event spaces based on reservation request details Be knowledgeable of audio and visual setups to assist with event tech support Oversee events and assist event coordinator with their various needs Work nights and weekends to ensure all Campus Center event spaces are ready for the next program
Additional Information
