MacKay Sposito is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This position plays a vital role in providing first-line technical support to employees across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top‑notch user support in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This is a full‑time position based out of our Vancouver, WA office and requires travel to branch offices or field sites about 25% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for internal users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in systems such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise tools.
Support and maintain VoIP phone systems, printers, and video conferencing equipment.
Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the helpdesk knowledge base.
Escalate complex issues to higher‑tier IT staff when necessary, ensuring proper follow‑up and communication.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing and configuring equipment for new hires.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets and assist with hardware lifecycle management.
Provide occasional on‑site support at regional offices or project sites as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
1+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
Proficiency with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
Experience supporting network connectivity, printers, and peripherals.
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certification.
Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, or remote management tools.
Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
