Quality Assurance Automated Tester

Needs
- Two hands‑on Quality Assurance Automated Testers to ensure new systems meet functional requirements and service qualities such as performance, scalability, extensibility, maintainability, security, and interoperability.
- Hands‑on manual testing experience.
- Responsibility to review and improve existing systems using new technologies and methodologies for continual improvement.
- Create a breakdown of the system into components, component interactions, interfaces with the environment (especially the user), and the technologies and resources for design.
Specific Services Required
- Follow core technology and architecture for automated testing of large‑scale distributed systems, mid‑range to client‑server and n‑tier e‑commerce applications.
- Follow specifications to automate application testing.
- Work on all test automation components, creating/maintaining required technical documentation.
- Follow developed strategies for end‑to‑end system testing.
- Assist in testing processes involving migration and integration of new and legacy technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver business and technical value.
- Organized, proactive, self‑directed, able to perform with minimal supervision.

- Interface with users, sponsors, and stakeholders to determine evolving needs.
- Follow set standards for automated testing software, policies, and execution.
- Review system requirements, test scripts, test scenarios to create appropriate testing workflow and ensure consistency, completeness, correctness, and operational definition.
- Collaborate with development group, Product Owners, System Teams, and Operations to ensure best overall testing strategies and practices.
- Interface with design and implementation teams to resolve QA problems in accordance with design concepts and user needs.
- Collaborate on acceptance test requirements with project teams and users to confirm high‑level requirements met, especially for the human‑computer interface.
- Generate unit tests, automated functional tests, regression tests, load tests, code coverage reports, test scenario pass/fail percentages, ADA/508c/AWGA compliance, cross‑browser, mobile compatibility.
- Ensure testing libraries and artifacts remain current and never obsolete.
- Responsible for creating automated test case scenarios for Agile Delivery Team to meet Acceptance Criteria.
Required Skills And Experience
- 5+ years’ experience with Azure DevOps suite (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts) – required.
- 5+ years’ experience in automated testing with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and VBScript or other programming language – required.
- 5+ years’ experience with automated testing frameworks, manual testing, test methodologies, strategies, and test beds – required.
- 5+ years’ experience with Agile methodologies.
- Develop and maintain UI, back‑end, API, and hardware test automation.
- Involved in at least two large‑scale Agile software development projects.
- Knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, continuous integration methodologies.
- Knowledge of web application testing, distributed system testing, performance testing, regression testing, database testing, mobile testing, security testing, accessibility testing, web service testing.
- Knowledge of .NET, SharePoint, Salesforce.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design (preferred).
- Knowledge of application modeling and design.
- Knowledge of service‑oriented architectures.
- Experience with automated testing in enterprise system integration projects, understanding and implementing integration patterns.
- Thorough understanding of standard QA best practices in an Agile environment including test plans, test cases, execution, and issue tracking.
- Good understanding of DevOps and setting up continuous integration environments.
- Experience with test‑driven development and testing tools and techniques.
- Object‑oriented design principles and design patterns.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with QA functional test suites such as Unified Functional Testing.
- Automated testing knowledge for C#, WCF, jQuery, XML, JSON, WebApi, SOAP, .NET, JavaScript.
- Testing experience with web services (REST, SOAP, WCF) and tools such as SOAPUI.
- BS in Computer Science, engineering, or technology‑related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Experience with .NET Framework.
- Knowledge of virtualized hosting environments.
- Knowledge of Mulesoft.
- SQL.
