Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership: Translate financial data into actionable insights that guide organizational strategy and sustainability. Daily Oversight: Monitor cash flow, grant fund balances, and budget variances to ensure optimal resource allocation. Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to GAAP, IRS regulations, and grant compliance standards. Contract & Invoice Management: Approve financial transactions in alignment with mission and strategic goals. Program Support: Analyze financial feasibility of program expansions and provide insights on organizational stability.
What You Bring
Expertise in nonprofit accounting, including fund management and grant reporting. Strong grasp of GAAP for nonprofits, IRS Form 990, and federal/state compliance. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Familiarity with tools like Blackbaud, QuickBooks Nonprofit, Power BI, or Tableau. A collaborative, mission-driven mindset with the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders. 10+ Years' experience in financial management with increasing levels of responsibility. CPA Preferred. Master's preferred, Bachelor's required in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
