About the Position:

We are seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heavy construction and industrial equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and forklifts.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Replace or repair defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and undercarriages.
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
• Operate equipment to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all company and safety policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic (construction, mining, or industrial).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Must have own basic tools; specialized tools provided by the company.
