Overview Join the Manufacturing Engineer role at Actalent. The Franklin, IN site is a 100% onsite facility focused on copper magnet wire manufacturing for the EV market. Responsibilities Lead small process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency. Provide effective troubleshooting and support for manufacturing processes. Assist in the development and implementation of new process and equipment projects. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of magnet wire manufacturing and process controls. Compile standardized documents and conduct training sessions. Coordinate and perform trials in compliance with company and customer standards. Design and execute trials to qualify and evaluate equipment. Maintain process sheets and customer-specific reports. Support plant improvement teams and events. Qualifications Essential: Associates Degree in an Engineering Discipline 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, focusing on troubleshooting processes Experience in tooling/fixture design and design for manufacturing Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently Additional Skills Experience in Wire & Cable Manufacturing Experience leading or managing a manufacturing engineering team Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline Work Environment The position is based at the Franklin, IN site and requires 100% onsite presence. The facility is climate-controlled and operates in an industrial manufacturing environment. The role follows a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with minimal overtime (typically 40-45 hours per week from 8 AM to 4 PM). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
