Treasurer
ensures the foundation’s financial health and transparency. You’ll help us steward our resources wisely as we grow — tracking donations, assisting with budgets, and supporting grant reporting. Responsibilities Oversee financial statements, reports, and budgets. Work with the President and bookkeeper to ensure proper documentation. Help develop financial policies and annual budgets. Participate in fundraising planning and donor stewardship. Present brief financial updates at board meetings. Ideal Candidate Experience in accounting, nonprofit finance, or bookkeeping. Familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, or similar tools. Strategic thinker with integrity and attention to detail. About Casa Xolo: Casa Xolo Foundation is a BIPOC-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building community-powered sanctuaries for rescued animals and the people who love them. Inspired by ancestral knowledge and the healing bond between humans and animals, we center collective care, conservation, and cultural connection. Our work includes rescue and rehabilitation, educational workshops, and advocacy for BIPOC participation in animal and land stewardship.
