LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to work for a great company in the New Hyde Park, Long island area.
Full Time Days. Direct Hire.
730am-4pm or 830am-430pm shift. IN Office.
About the Role
We're looking for a
detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Coordinator
to work in the accounting department. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly - ensuring payments are accurate, vendors are supported, and financial records are up to date.

What You'll Do Verify invoices and receiving reports for accuracy (part numbers, quantities, pricing, freight, etc.) across all locations.
Review and post vendor invoices, including those requiring special handling (DSO, credits, etc.).
Prepare and process vendor payments twice monthly and generate checks.
Maintain and update vendor files and manufacturer certificates of conformance.
Reconcile freight bills for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Support accounts receivable and government billing processes as needed.
Manage office supply orders and maintain related records.
Provide general administrative support and assist with mail processing.
Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned to support team success.
Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
At least 1 year of related accounts payable or accounting experience.
Skills:
Proficient with
AS400
systems is a PLUS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote).
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Professional email etiquette and basic office equipment knowledge.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
