DIRECTOR OF STUDENT SERVICES

Category: Administration Location: Administration Building Work Year: 12 months (sick days, personal days, and vacation days) Start Date: July 1st, 2026 Salary Range: ($100,000 to $140,000) Based on experience. Benefits: Employee's insurance paid by the District (health, life and dental)

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

A valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an administrative endorsement Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience Advanced Degrees preferred A collaborative leader who possesses excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated success working with people in establishing goals, objectives, and action plans to produce expected results. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Student enrollment and registration Student attendance Student transportation Student discipline issues and appeals Student and Parent Handbooks Student residency investigations Annual school supply list District level field trip approvals Illinois Student Information Systems reporting Placement (testing) of students from non-accredited and home schools Screening and placement of early kindergarten entrance applicants Coordinate Truancy Alternative Optional Education Program (TAOEP) Grant Coordinate centralized registration Oversee truancy and truancy officers Oversee district homeless liaison Oversee enrollment office secretarial staff Serve as district foster care liaison Serve as district student records custodian Serve as non-discrimination complaint manager Serve as district CEO liaison Serve at District Title IX Coordinator Attend Board of Education meetings Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent Physical Demands:

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard. Sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Occasional reaching, kneeling and bending. Hearing and speaking to exchange information. Seeing to read a variety of materials. Light lifting and carrying of supplies and materials up to ten pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy and distracting environment. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Driving a vehicle to conduct work.
