Transportation Volunteers

Work with our amazing Transportation team members to pick up donated furniture and household goods and deliver to Home of Our Own (HOOO) clients. Assist with assembly or disassembly of furniture when needed. Place furniture in clients' homes as directed, turning empty rooms into welcoming spaces. Enjoy the smiles of families who now have a furnished, dignified place to call home! Pickups and deliveries are usually scheduled during weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm. Each weekend, volunteers indicate times they are available for the coming week. Volunteers for this role should live in or near the area we serve -- Howard County Maryland.
