Maintenance Technician (Industrial Manufacturing)

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on molding and auxiliary equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on industrial machines, systems, and facility infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role requiring experience with molding machinery, strong diagnostic ability, and cross-department collaboration to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
Schedule: Second shift (8 PM - 8 AM), rotating 2-2-3 schedule with shift differential.
Key Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair molding machines, auxiliary systems, and related production equipment. Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on all assigned equipment. Fabricate, weld, or machine parts and fixtures as needed. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Assist with installation, setup, and alignment of new machinery. Support building and facilities maintenance as required. Adhere to all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications
Must have prior experience with blow molding or injection molding machinery - this is a required qualification. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Welding experience required; machining or fabrication skills a plus. PLC and electrical troubleshooting experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally respond to off-shift maintenance needs. Self-motivated with strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Compensation & Benefits
