Geriatric Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) - Bilingual Spanish / Mental Health Clinician

About the Role
A respected community-based
behavioral health organization
is seeking compassionate, motivated
Licensed Social Workers (LMSW or LCSW)
to provide
mental health counseling and case management
for older adults (ages 60+) in
Brooklyn senior centers . This is an excellent opportunity for a
bilingual Spanish-speaking clinician
passionate about
geriatric care, aging services, and community mental health .
Key Responsibilities Provide
individual and group psychotherapy
to seniors experiencing
depression, anxiety, grief, social isolation, and life transitions . Utilize
evidence-based practices , including
solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral interventions, and skill-building techniques
(training and certification provided). Conduct
psychosocial assessments , develop
treatment and care plans , and maintain
accurate EMR documentation . Deliver
behavioral health and social support services
in collaboration with
interdisciplinary care teams
including psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and program directors. Participate in
weekly supervision, team meetings, and CEU training
to support ongoing professional development and clinical growth. Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required. Active New York State license : LMSW or LCSW. Fluency in Spanish
(bilingual in English and Spanish required). Strong computer skills and experience with
electronic health records (EHR/EMR) . Prior experience with
older adult populations, community-based care, or behavioral health
is preferred. Ideal Candidates
