Family Law and/or Trusts & Estates Litigation Legal Assistant
to join our talented team. In this fast-paced role, you will provide direct administrative and legal support to two busy Partners handling Family Law, Estate & Trust, Fiduciary and General Civil Litigation. You will also be a vital member of the Administrative Team, ensuring smooth day-to-day processes and seamless coverage to all attorneys, as needed. Key Responsibilities: Draft and format legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence File documents electronically with state and federal courts Maintain and organize case files and legal databases Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions and mediations, and track deadlines Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel Assist with trial preparation including exhibit lists and witness coordination Process incoming and outgoing mail and legal notices Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, time entry, and billing support Support administrative team with clerical tasks and special projects, as needed Help maintain order and cleanliness in shared office areas such as the copy rooms, and kitchens Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Qualifications: High school diploma 3+ years of heavy litigation support experience - Family Law and/or Trusts & Estates Litigation experience required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and legal document management systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance Must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential information Friendly, approachable, and polite with excellent interpersonal skills Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and stellar work ethic Strong record of job stability Working Environment: We are a collaborative and dedicated team of attorneys and staff who value professionalism, camaraderie, and mutual support.
