Job Description
Light Industrial Superintendent Responsibilities:
Coordinate all construction activities and subcontractors in alignment with the main office. Schedule and oversee agency inspections to ensure compliance. Interpret and apply architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape drawings and specifications. Review shop drawings and reports from testing and inspection agencies; prepare and track RFIs. Complete daily reports and capture progress photographs. Utilize computer systems (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel) and manage PDF documents efficiently. Collaborate with design professionals, subcontractors, project managers, and local officials to resolve conflicts and drive solutions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, enforcing safety standards consistently. The Successful Applicant
Light Industrial Superintendent Qualifications:
3+ years of experience
in large-scale commercial ground-up construction. Prior experience with
light industrial projects
such as warehouses, distribution centers, or cold storage facilities valued at
$25M+ . Familiarity with
tilt-wall, precast, and cast-in-place concrete
is a plus. Strong understanding of the full construction process and ability to maintain a master schedule. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, specifications, and drawings. Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients. Self-driven and highly organized. Base Salary: $100,000 - $135,000
