$25-$29 per hour Job Summary: The
Assembler
performs the assembly, testing, and verification of precision
opto-mechanical and electro-optical components
and subsystems. This role involves working with detailed instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings to build complex components that support
advanced sensing and imaging technologies . The ideal candidate demonstrates precision, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a
fast-paced manufacturing environment
while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret
drawings, manuals, and assembly instructions
to perform daily tasks. Assemble, install, repair, and maintain
electronic and mechanical components . Perform
complex bonding, curing, and alignment procedures
on assemblies. Operate
test equipment and automated instruments
to verify system performance. Perform
inspections
to ensure work accuracy and compliance with engineering specifications. Troubleshoot assembly issues and ensure quality control prior to release. Maintain
records, logs, and documentation
related to assembly and testing. Follow all
safety, cleanliness, and ESD control procedures
during production. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision. Required Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
required. 1-2 years
of experience in
mechanical, electrical, or optical assembly . Demonstrated ability to
read blueprints and technical documentation . Nice-to-Have Experience:
Prior experience with
PCB assembly or electronic soldering . Familiarity with
cleanroom or lab assembly environments . Experience in
optics, electro-optical systems, or sensor device production . Required Skills:
Strong
manual dexterity
and fine motor skills. Ability to
lift up to 50 lbs.
for short durations. Excellent
attention to detail
and quality workmanship. Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with
hand tools, microscopes, and testing equipment . Ability to follow
detailed written and visual work instructions . Team-oriented with strong
communication and organizational skills . Additional Skills:
Experience in
bonding, curing, and test verification
of optical components. Ability to perform
data entry and documentation
in electronic tracking systems. Commitment to
continuous learning and on-the-job development .
