We are seeking a detail-oriented
Assembler
to join our precision manufacturing team in Wilsonville, OR. The Assembler will be responsible for performing complex
opto-mechanical and electro-optical assembly
operations, testing, and verification of high-performance sensing components and subsystems. This role supports the production of
advanced imaging and detection technologies
used in mission-critical applications across defense, research, and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble precision
opto-mechanical and electro-optical components
following established procedures and documentation. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
to perform accurate assembly tasks. Perform
bonding and curing
of optical and mechanical components using defined processes. Operate
test equipment, instruments, and automated test systems
for verification of assemblies. Inspect, verify, and document completed work to ensure conformance to specifications. Conduct
repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance
of electronic components and subassemblies. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maintain workflow efficiency and quality standards. Adhere to all
safety and cleanroom protocols
as required by production environment. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or production leads. Required Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate Degree (A.S.) preferred. 1-2 years of experience in
technical assembly, electronics, or optical systems manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to
read and interpret technical documents
and follow detailed work instructions. Strong
mechanical aptitude
and ability to work with small, precision components. Ability to
lift up to 50 lbs.
for short durations. Excellent
attention to detail
and manual dexterity. Nice-to-Have Experience
Prior experience in
PCB assembly or soldering. Experience working in
cleanroom or optical manufacturing environments. Familiarity with
bonding and curing materials
or adhesives used in electro-optical systems. Required Skills
