Human Resources Coordinator

in Houston, TX.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Employment Type:

Full-Time | Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire Compensation:

$55,000-$70,000 annually (based on experience) Benefits:

This newly created role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys blending people-focused work with data-driven insights, and is excited to bring fresh energy to HR operations.

What You'll Be Doing You'll be the go-to person for HR administrative support and employee engagement, working closely with the HR Manager and broader HR team. Key responsibilities include: Recruiting Support: Manage job postings, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and handle background checks. Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate I-9s, W-4s, direct deposits, and exit interviews. Payroll Processing: Handle bi-weekly payroll, verify timesheets, deductions, and reporting accuracy. Benefits Administration: Support open enrollment, insurance reconciliation, and leave tracking. HRIS & Reporting: Maintain data integrity in Paycom, audit HR and benefits data, and generate reports for leadership. Culture & Engagement: Plan team-building events, lunches, and employee engagement activities. AI Integration: Use tools like CoPilot and ChatGPT to streamline HR workflows and improve efficiency. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal policies, and document scalable HR processes. Additional Support: Assist with employment verifications and workers' compensation claims. What You Bring

3+ years of experience in HR, administrative, or office support roles Strong working knowledge of AI platforms (CoPilot, ChatGPT) - be ready to share how you use them to analyze data and boost productivity Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) Experience in the healthcare industry (highly preferred) Familiarity with Paycom HRIS and Microsoft PowerPoint Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills A creative mindset and passion for celebrating team culture Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details:
