LotusWorks is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and preservation of critical equipment in a high-tech semiconductor facility. This role is essential in ensuring systems remain reliable, safe, and compliant with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers and vendors in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance on operating equipment in accordance with client guidelines and procedures. Create and upload files for equipment entering the client's operational system. Conduct preservation activities on non-operating equipment to maintain readiness and integrity. Complete safe state verification and signoff for non-operating equipment. Escalate vendor-required preservation to FCE/FFO to facilitate site visits. Collaborate with central engineers on escalations and review of equipment preservation checklists. Respond promptly to equipment shutdowns and alarms; escalate issues to central engineers as required. Perform rounds and readings on non-automated equipment and facility areas to ensure proper operation. Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. Skills Required: We invite anyone who is entry level to those who have 3-10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or technician roles in a semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial facility, to apply. Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems such as HVAC, process utilities, and facility support equipment. Familiarity with maintenance procedures, preservation practices, and safe state verification. Ability to interpret and follow technical procedures, preservation checklists, and operational guidelines. Proficient in documenting activities and updating operational systems. Excellent troubleshooting and escalation skills in response to alarms, shutdowns, or equipment issues. Strong communication and teamwork skills for working with engineers, vendors, and site leadership. Education / Licenses / Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Associate's, Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred, but not required. Relevant technical certifications (HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems) are an advantage. Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
