Description Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using licensed assessments and observational techniques. Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both short-term milestones and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions focusing on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to formulate comprehensive care strategies. Provide education to patients and their families to support progress beyond therapy sessions. Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing consistency of care throughout the therapeutic journey. Maintain thorough and timely documentation that aligns with state, federal, and organization regulations. Stay informed about advancements within the field through ongoing education and peer engagements. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications

State licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandated within the first month of employment. Skills
