working with our mortgage client.
Payroll Specialist
responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include: Accurately processing semi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. Calculating and reconciling complex commission structures specific to the mortgage industry. Maintaining and updating payroll records, deductions, and adjustments in ADP Workforce Now. Collaborating with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless payroll administration and reporting. Utilizing Excel for reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation of payroll and commission records. Processing accruals for the accounting department. Completing month-end and year-end reporting and uploads. Ensuring commission data integration with Encompass and Compensafe (Encino). Required qualifications for the position include :
Minimum of 3+ years of payroll experience, with direct exposure to the mortgage industry. Experience processing payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees. Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, Excel, Encompass, and Compensafe/Encino. Strong understanding of commission-based compensation structures within mortgage lending. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment (2-3 days in office). Pay Rate Range : $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
