SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Student Behavior Support Interventionist (MTSS-B Interventionist) will work with school based teams to establish and implement behavioral interventions and supports, as well as assist with monitoring the effectiveness of these interventions and supports through data collection for students with social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Previous experience working with children with social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges Previous experience implementing and monitoring behavior plans Familiarity with basic data collection methods CPI Certification preferred, but willing to provide on the on the job training Familiarity with Social Thinking programs, preferred Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Willingness to work collaboratively with school based teams Ability to maintain the confidentiality of school and student records Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred with concentration in counseling or emotional behavioral disorders. Three (3) to five (5) years educational experience. Previous experience with implementing and monitoring behavior plans.
CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: N/A
PAY RATE:
$23.34 - 29.60/hr. 2025-26 pay scale
WORK SCHEDULE:
30.0 hours per week, 6.0 hours per day (benefited position)
