Oxford Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support 2nd shift production. This role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment.
Shift Details Training on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) before transitioning to 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
Essential Duties
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to maintain safe, reliable operation Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document work in CMMS Install, maintain, test, and repair industrial electrical systems, drives, motors, and controls Read and interpret CAD drawings and equipment schematics for troubleshooting and fabrication Support installation of power distribution equipment (sub panels, conduit, wiring) Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, machine networks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Collaborate with operators and other maintenance staff to minimize downtime Support manufacturing engineering with fabrication, machining, welding, and custom equipment builds Contribute to Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Background and Experience
Associate degree or technical certification preferred Minimum 3 years' experience in production or industrial maintenance Strong knowledge of drives, motors, and industrial power systems Ability to read and work from CAD drawings (mechanical and electrical) Hands-on experience with PLCs, ideally Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) Lockout/Tagout expertise and safety-first mindset Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission systems Proficiency with hand and shop tools; basic machining/welding skills a plus
