Industrial Maintenance Technician

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on high-speed food processing and packaging equipment (mixers, conveyors, blenders, metal detectors, laser daters, palletizers, etc.) Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of issues including electrical controls, PLCs, mechanical failures, hydraulics, and pneumatics Execute both scheduled and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and keep production on track Conduct regular preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance logs Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure correct repair procedures Calibrate, align, and test sensors, VFDs, motors, and servo systems Maintain plant utilities and infrastructure including HVAC, boilers, compressed air systems, and plumbing Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize repairs and ensure minimal disruption to production Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and facility projects Follow all safety protocols and help foster a zero-incident workplace culture What You Bring
4+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role (food, beverage, chemical, or industrial) Experience with high-speed packaging equipment and process machinery Strong skills in mechanical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and preventative maintenance; electrical troubleshooting preferred Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, and conveying systems Ability to troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and VFDs is a plus Welding, fabrication, HVAC, or boiler knowledge is a bonus Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills A self-starter who takes pride in solving problems and keeping the plant running smoothly
