PGS Worldwide is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Archbald, PA for a 6-month contract-to-hire. This is a first-shift role (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM ET) supporting production of precision electronic and mechanical assemblies.

Required Skills

Hands-on assembly of electronic/mechanical subassemblies (modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables) Proficient soldering of micro and sub-miniature components; ability to follow detailed work instructions Wire harness build and termination; coax and multi-conductor cable assembly Ability to read and work from diagrams, drawings, schematics, and operation sheets Safe operation of shop equipment, including laser wire strippers and coax processing tools Basic electrical/mechanical test skills (continuity, polarity, visual inspection) and strong attention to quality Familiarity with ESD controls, workmanship standards, and production documentation Preferred Skills

Certification/experience with IPC standards (J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620) Microscope soldering, fine-pitch rework, and precision crimp/torque techniques Experience in aerospace/defense or other high-reliability manufacturing environments Use of common test equipment (multimeter, hipot, pull test) and quality recordkeeping Responsibilities

Perform repetitive and non-repetitive electro-mechanical production assembly operations Assemble, install, and terminate complex harnesses and subassemblies; perform higher-skill soldering as assigned Support manufacture of harnesses, circuit cards, and miscellaneous assemblies Operate equipment such as laser wire strippers and coax processing machinery Interpret engineering diagrams/schematics and complete documentation accurately Meet quality, safety, and schedule expectations while ensuring workmanship standards are maintained
