Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and strategic Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales efforts for AVer's Connected Health business unit. This role will focus on growing market share within the healthcare vertical by building strong relationships with hospitals and healthcare systems, resellers, distributors, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that require reliable, integrated video hardware to complete their telehealth or virtual care platforms.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, tech-savvy, and comfortable selling in both clinical and IT environments. While the primary focus is our medical-grade PTZ camera portfolio, the RSM will also identify cross-selling opportunities across our broader AV product lines (e.g., cameras for conference and meeting spaces).
Job Responsibilities
• Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing new healthcare accounts, including Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), hospitals, and digital health platforms.
• Gather and analyze point-of-sale (POS) and market share data from key resellers and distribution partners to guide strategy.
• Source and review market research specific to healthcare applications in the PTZ camera segment (e.g., Futuresource reports).
• Identify, recruit, and collaborate with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to integrate AVer camera solutions into platform-agnostic healthcare workflows.
• Empower and support channel partners through product training, co-selling initiatives, and participation in regional and national industry events.
• Engage deeply with customers to understand their unique challenges and requirements, providing tailored product and solution recommendations.
• Represent AVer at major industry events, healthcare expos, and partner roadshows to increase brand awareness and visibility.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners through consistent communication, exceptional service, and joint business development efforts.
• Lead discovery sessions and deliver impactful training (both virtual and in-person) for end-users, IT teams, and clinical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal product and marketing teams to refine customer value propositions and remain current on product innovation, market trends, and competitive insights.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records, sales pipeline, forecasts, and market intelligence reporting for sales leadership.
• Demonstrated success in entering new markets and building sustainable strategic partnerships.
• Knowledge of healthcare procurement processes, capital budgeting, and regulatory requirements related to medical technologies.
• Strong passion for improving healthcare delivery and enhancing the patient experience through innovative solutions.
Job Requirements
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in healthcare technology, AV, or IT solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
• Experience with channel sales and partner development (resellers, ISVs, or SIs).
• Strong understanding of virtual care, telehealth, or hospital AV/IT ecosystems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as required (30-50%+).
