Trueline is seeking a Structural Steel Project Engineer to join their team in Yonkers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex structural steel projects from conception to completion.

What You'll Do as the Structural Steel Project Engineer:

Spearhead project planning, including schedule development and risk mitigation strategies

Collaborate with design teams to ensure project specifications are met

Provide crucial engineering support during construction phases

Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols

Manage stakeholder communications and expectations

Oversee project documentation and change management processes

Monitor and report on project financials and resource utilization

Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth project execution

Must-Haves as the Structural Steel Project Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field

Demonstrated experience in structural steel design and project management

In-depth knowledge of industry codes and standards

Proficiency with structural analysis software and CAD tools

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in both independent and team-oriented work environments

Nice-To-Haves as the Structural Steel Project Engineer:

Advanced degree in Structural Engineering or related field

Professional Engineering (PE) license

Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software

Knowledge of sustainable construction practices

Familiarity with lean construction methodologies
