Job Title: Field Superintendent - Residential Flooring & Tile
Department: HFD Fulfillment
Location: Open (within region)
Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 annually + Vehicle & Communications Allowance + Quarterly Performance Bonuses + Full Benefits
Position Summary
The Field Superintendent is responsible for managing people, materials, and the execution of residential flooring and tile installation projects. This role focuses primarily on new home construction projects with home builders, with secondary responsibility for homeowner projects and remodels.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in residential flooring and tile installation, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with builders, subcontractors, and homeowners.
Key Responsibilities Oversee multiple residential flooring and tile projects from start to finish. Conduct pre-job and in-progress site visits to ensure job readiness, quality, and safety. Coordinate and manage field teams and subcontractors to meet schedules, productivity, and budget goals. Maintain strong relationships with home builders, site supervisors, and homeowners. Review project details, plans, and specifications with crews before job start. Monitor daily progress and costs to ensure maximum efficiency and quality. Represent Jack Laurie Group with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset. Qualifications Experience: Proven background in residential flooring and tile installation. Knowledge: Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Clean background check and valid driver's license required. Education: 2- or 4-year degree preferred but not required.
