We are delighted to be recruiting a Procurement Specialist - Contractor in Central Supply Chain organization.
The Procurement Specialist - Contractor is responsible for leading strategy development and the Procure to Pay (P2P) end-to-end process for assigned Indirect Procurement categories that are critical to supporting business operations across multiple business groups and global locations.
Responsibilities include:
1.
Sourcing Strategy
: Support existing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and mitigate sourcing risks for assigned Indirect Procurement categories.
2.
Supplier Management:
Proactively manage supplier relationships by setting clear expectations, monitoring compliance with contractual agreements, driving continuous performance improvements, and collaboratively resolving issues to ensure reliable supply and optimal cost-efficiency.
3.
Stakeholder Engagement
: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functions and business groups to gather requirements and collaborate on procurement strategies.
4.
Contract Management
: In collaboration with Contracts and Legal, prepare, review and negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
5.
Procure to Pay
: Manage the end-to-end process to acquire goods and services. It encompasses requisition, sourcing, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing and payment.
6.
Vendor Management
: Develop and maintain effective relationships with strategic and most critical vendors. Manage vendor performance, manage risk, lead business reviews, identify, develop and execute opportunities to create value.
7.
Category Performance Management
: Track and analyze procurement performance metrics to ensure category targets are met and continuously drive improvements.
8.
Reporting:
Prepare and communicate category strategies, sourcing plans, progress updates, KPIs, and market insights to key stakeholders.
9.
Project Management
: Lead and support procurement projects.
Experience & Capabilities:
1.
Over five years of sourcing and procurement experience that includes:
1.
Sourcing strategy execution
2.
The creation and negotiation of global vendor agreements
3.
Procurement including vendor management
2.
Procurement experience in Indirect categories is .
3.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with key stakeholders.
4.
Proven capability in working collaboratively within a multicultural, geographically dispersed environment.
Education
1.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain management or a related field is required
2.
A master’s degree and/or professional certifications in business, purchasing or supply chain
