Job Description Job Description Starting at $24/Hr or higher, depending on experience. Local Precision Aerospace Machine Shop is seeking a Quality Inspector who will be responsible for performing inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacture of products. This is a permanent full-time, first shift, position that offers a highly competitive wage depending on experience plus benefits. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs in-process as well as final manufacturing inspections, sampling and testing of fabricated component CMM inspection experience. ( PC-DMIS software a plus) GD&T knowledge. Records defects and takes appropriate action to correct the issue. Create First Article Inspection article. Performs other duties as assigned. Familiar with Material Certs Knowledge in Final inspection package/ first Article per AS9102 JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years of experience. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree or higher . Experience in a manufacturing environment ; mechanical aptitude required. Must be able to read and apply production instructions, drawings, BOM schematics, and specifications. Requires knowledge of blueprint reading, geometric tolerances, and finish requirements. Able to read and interpret specification and standards. Familiar with weld symbols, call-outs. Must be able to use basic hand and various measuring and test equipment. Ability to work in a fast pace environment with a strong attention to detail. Basic computer skills required. Receive Incoming product.
