$26.50 per hour POSITION SUMMARY Join our vibrant team as a Senior Hotel Engineer where your expertise will directly enhance our guests' experience! In this role, you will respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision. You will have a significant impact on the property's functionality through preventive maintenance, performance inspections, and by ensuring superior operational standards. Your responsibilities include: Performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Inspecting and operating equipment, identifying valves, and maintaining maintenance inventory. Communicating effectively with shifts about daily activities and challenges to streamline operations. Reading blueprints and electrical schematics relating to plumbing and HVAC. Demonstrating proficiency in multiple categories such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems, ensuring safe usage of all tools. Conducting complex repairs to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while complying with building codes. Utilizing the Lockout/Tagout system for safety during maintenance tasks. Leveraging advanced troubleshooting skills on MEP systems and mentoring junior engineers. Performing Engineer on Duty responsibilities to maintain operational excellence. Success in this position requires upholding safety and security policies, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality, and fostering a positive work environment. You will also ensure exemplary guest service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; vocational or technical background. Experience:
At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience with extensive knowledge in general maintenance. Licensing:
