$26.50 per hour POSITION SUMMARY Join our team as an Engineering Technician III and play a vital role in maintaining a beautiful environment for our guests! Your focus will be on responding to guest repair requests and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and independently. Key responsibilities include: Performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment with high attention to detail. Communicating effectively with guests and team members to address maintenance concerns. Conducting visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to ensure proper operation. Maintaining maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as necessary. Exhibiting advanced skills in reading blueprints and electrical schematics related to plumbing and HVAC systems. Demonstrating proficiency in maintenance categories such as air conditioning, electrical systems, mechanical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and energy conservation. You will also: Safely perform complex repairs on electrical and plumbing systems along with mechanical equipment. Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safety before maintenance work. Possess strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Train and mentor fellow engineers, contributing to a collaborative environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical training. Experience: 2+ years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience is preferred. Valid Driver's License required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
