What You’ll Do
End-to-End Project Management
Lead all phases of project delivery — from planning through execution to closeout.
Maintain full responsibility for project budgets, schedules, and performance outcomes.
Team Leadership
Inspire and lead crews to peak performance.
Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture on and off the jobsite.
Financial Focus
Manage project budgets and forecasts with full profit-and-loss responsibility.
Drive profitability by identifying savings and opportunities for success.
Risk Management
Anticipate challenges, mitigate risks, and maintain smooth project flow.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Represent Petticoat-Schmitt with integrity and professionalism.
Build trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to secure future opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
4+ years of project management experience in
civil construction
(site development, utilities, or public works).
Proven background in
self-performing civil construction , with ownership of labor, materials, and financials.
Strong financial acumen with profit/loss management responsibility.
Proficiency with project management software (Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HCSS, Procore/Prolog, or similar).
Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Personal Traits
Urgency and precision in solving problems.
Commitment to process excellence and continuous improvement.
Ability to coach, mentor, and foster a high-performance team culture.
Fearless communicator who safeguards the company’s success and reputation.
