Job Description :
Systems in Minneapolis MN is seeking an experienced electrical/electronic technician to work in its Electrical Lab.
This position will support fabrication of Micro & Nano electronic products and support equipment including -assembly, test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework and repair.
Required Skill Set :
proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools.
Specific skills include: • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches. • Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects. • Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude.
and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data. • Able to work as part of a group or team. • Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Desired Skills Set : • Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication and test improvements • Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience • Troubleshooting of electronic, electrical systems • Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3 and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements
Education Qualification : 2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
