Job Description Summary
Role Overview:
We are seeking a
Quality Engineer
with
6-8 years of experience
in software quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate must have a
strong background in the Retail domain, preferably with Walmart project experience . This role requires a proactive professional with solid hands-on testing skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive
test strategies and plans
for complex retail systems and applications. Perform
manual and automated testing
to validate product functionality, integration, and performance. Identify, log, and track
defects
using standard QA tools; drive defect triage and closure activities. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables. Conduct
regression testing ,
UAT support , and participate in release management processes. Contribute to continuous
process improvements
and adoption of QA best practices. Provide
clear communication
of testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience
6-8 years
of proven experience as a
Quality Engineer / QA Analyst . Strong hands-on knowledge in
manual and automation testing
methodologies. Proficiency in
test planning, execution, and defect management . Experience working in
Agile/Scrum environments . Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Must have experience in the Retail domain; prior Walmart project experience is highly preferred. Mandatory Skills
