Position Overview We are seeking a
Field Services Technician I
to join our Managed Services team. This hybrid role is based in the Salem, NH area and will include both remote and onsite client support across the local region (NH, MA, ME), with occasional travel nationwide for projects. This position is responsible for providing
proactive, hands-on, and remote technical support
to DAS Health clients, serving as the first line of response for resolving technical issues and ensuring outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities Client Support & Ticket Management
Respond promptly to client correspondence and provide daily updates on open service requests. Work assigned tickets through resolution, escalating to senior team members as needed. Resolve tickets within required Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain accurate documentation. Identify and report recurring issues to help improve long-term system stability and automation. Technical Support & Implementation
Implement, troubleshoot, and provide basic-level support for:
Client networks (firewalls, routers, switches, Wi-Fi) Windows Server administration PC applications and operating systems MSP tools (RMM, antivirus, monitoring, etc.)
Assist with client onboardings, system implementations, and technology rollouts. Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues. Onsite Service & Travel
Travel to client locations for site assessments, installations, and equipment setups. Prep, deliver, and install PCs, laptops, and related devices at client sites. Serve as the onsite technical contact for client support and field service requests. Additional Duties
Maintain accurate system documentation in IT Glue and adhere to all change management and configuration policies. Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation as required. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
High School diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT-related field preferred. Experience:
1-3 years of experience in Field Services or IT Support. Certifications:
A+ and Network+ preferred. Technical Skills:
Basic networking knowledge (firewalls, routers, switches). Proficiency with Windows Server, and familiarity with Azure, AWS, and WVD environments. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Professional, client-focused demeanor and proactive mindset.
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel to client sites as needed (local and occasional nationwide). Willingness to work nights/weekends or after-hours when required. Fast-paced learner with the ability to adapt quickly during training and live client scenarios.
