Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
IAM L2 Access Technician
to join our team in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for providing Level 2 support in user provisioning, access management, and role/entitlement administration across multiple systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic technical environment. Successful candidates are self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively to resolve access-related issues, drive process improvements, and ensure secure and efficient identity operations. Key Responsibilities
Manage and resolve incidents and requests in
ServiceNow
related to user access and entitlements. Support and facilitate access provisioning and deprovisioning requests in compliance with security policies. Identify and report process gaps or recurring issues to the
L3 IAM
team with recommendations for improvement. Serve as a
technical escalation point
throughout project lifecycles to ensure timely resolution of complex access issues. Support and prioritize
ad hoc escalations
and service requests from leadership. Cross-train peers and promote
knowledge sharing
across IAM teams and technical towers. Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. 2-3 years
of experience providing end-user support and administration in an IAM environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills in a support or technical setting. 2-3 years
of experience extracting, analyzing, and maintaining data in
Excel
or
Google Sheets . 2-3 years
of experience creating technical and process documentation. Preferred Qualifications
2+ years
of experience in end-user support and IAM administration. 2+ years
of experience with one or more of the following:
SailPoint, ServiceNow, SQL, Active Directory, or Oracle . 2+ years
of experience implementing and utilizing
process, change, incident, or problem management
frameworks.
