AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are experts with deep technical knowledge, ready to tackle complex challenges for our customers. In this role, you will collaborate with customers to design scalable and resilient cloud-based solutions that solve unique technical problems. The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) falls under AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services, working to drive growth and adoption from enterprise-level customers to small and mid-market accounts. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise through the lifecycle of AWS customer initiatives, from concept to execution, while fostering a culture of collaboration and exceptional results. This role will engage with public sector clients, supercomputing centers, and sectors like AI/ML, CAE, and Weather, crafting tailored cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: Designing Customer Solutions:

Work closely with AWS teams to construct HPC solutions leveraging AWS Services. Engagement Strategy:

Collaborate with various departments to develop an HPC engagement strategy for AWS and key accounts. Thought Leadership:

Contribute to public and internal materials including blogs, whitepapers, and training resources to enhance AWS services knowledge. Customer Success:

Support the business development team in ensuring customer success with AWS applications. Best Practices:

Share knowledge of best practices within the AWS solutions architect community. Market Understanding:

Keep abreast of trends within AWS market segments and industry verticals. About Our Team:

Basic Qualifications: Experience with HPC frameworks in domains such as CAE, Weather Simulation, and others. Proven ability to map HPC user requirements to solutions. Experience in architecting HPC platforms with scheduling middleware. Knowledge of HPC technology deployment in multi-user environments. High-level understanding of infrastructure for running HPC services. Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and others. Deep GPU knowledge in HPC and/or AI/ML frameworks. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields. Working knowledge of HPC schedulers, distributed file systems, and development processes. Experience with containers like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of cloud computing delivery models for HPC. Knowledge of networking, storage, and hardware optimization necessities for HPC. Prior experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant or solutions architect. Compensation: The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 to $239,000, depending on geographic location and other factors. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered.
