The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is an integral part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS). We focus on driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector initiatives. Our approach is customer-centric, aiming to resolve complex, business-critical challenges and develop go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into substantial business opportunities. You'll be pivotal in the lifecycle of AWS customer initiatives—from ideation to acceleration of established businesses—while collaborating cross-functionally within AWS. We are searching for a Senior Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect focused on HPC to enhance our customers' capabilities, particularly in domains such as physics-informed machine learning, CAE, weather, and accelerated computing with GPU. As a trusted customer advocate, you will guide organizations on best practices for cloud-based solutions and assist in migrating workloads to the cloud. You will also have the chance to influence and execute strategies that promote AWS use within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong motivation, a customer-centric mindset, and a talent for connecting technology with measurable business value. Key Responsibilities: Design Customer Solutions:

Collaborate with AWS teams to help customers and partners architect HPC solutions utilizing AWS services. Engage with Stakeholders:

Work with Solution Architects, Account Managers, and Partners to define an HPC Engagement strategy focusing on public sector National Supercomputing Centers, Government agencies, and other critical sectors. Thought Leadership:

Provide insights and thought leadership through published articles, whitepapers, and reference architectures while training AWS specialists. Support Customer Success:

Be an essential part of the business development and account management teams, ensuring customer success in their AWS applications. Knowledge Sharing:

Capture and disseminate best practices across the global AWS solution architect community. Market Understanding:

Basic Qualifications: Experience with HPC frameworks in domains like CAE, weather simulation, oil and gas, and financial services. Ability to understand HPC user requirements and map them to appropriate solutions. Hands-on experience with HPC scheduling middleware. Proficiency in deploying, tuning, and managing HPC technologies. High-level understanding of infrastructure platforms for running HPC services. Strong communication skills for engaging various stakeholders. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, CUDA, and Bash. Deep knowledge of GPUs in HPC and AI/ML frameworks. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in a related field. Familiarity with HPC schedulers and distributed file systems. Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of cloud computing models related to HPC. Knowledge of infrastructure requirements for Networking, Storage, and Hardware Optimization.
