Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer
to join our team. You will play a crucial role in transforming software engineering practices by integrating development and operations through our advanced cloud-based platform. As a key team member, you will design, develop, implement, and integrate a robust cloud infrastructure while modernizing the platform's overall architecture. You will utilize the latest technologies and DevOps/DevSecOps tools to optimize processes, enhance collaboration, and expedite release cycles, promoting efficiency and innovation in developing mission-critical capabilities. Your Responsibilities Include: Supporting the transition of tightly coupled systems to a more flexible architecture Architecting, designing, developing, integrating, and supporting build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines while ensuring performance and scalability Leveraging best practices to enhance scalability, efficiency, and reduce deployment times while automating configuration management Collaborating with software engineers, data scientists, and agile teams to deliver robust platform solutions Incorporating security and compliance into our platform with tools for encryption and access management Providing operational support to ensure smooth platform functionality Qualifications Required: BS/BA degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Physics) with 5 years of related experience Proven experience in designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go) Compliance with DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent) Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is essential by start date Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab) Familiarity with RedHat Linux Expertise in automation frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef) Knowledge of scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Fortify, Anchore) Multi-disciplined experience in infrastructure, including computers, networks, storage, and virtualization Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) Experience in developing, testing & delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting applications and services on Linux Background in COTS/FOSS product installation and integration What We Offer: A commitment to our values, including Safety, Trust, Respect, Accountability, Collaboration, and Innovation This position is based at our facility located at 16800 E Centretech Pkwy, Aurora, CO, 80011 USA.
