Med Surg RNs
for an exciting travel opportunity in a
Neuromusculoskeletal Med Surg Unit
at a leading hospital in
Rochester, NY . This role is ideal for nurses with a background in
neurology, musculoskeletal, and telemetry care
who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This Level II RN role offers opportunities for expanded clinical leadership, including
charge nurse ,
preceptorship , and
committee participation .
Unit Description:
High-acuity medical-surgical unit focused on
neurologic and musculoskeletal disorders
Collaborative, evidence-based care model
Supportive leadership and opportunities for professional growth
Excellent unit for RNs looking to strengthen both clinical and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care to patients with neuro and musculoskeletal conditions
Interpret and respond to telemetry monitoring
Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Serve as charge nurse or preceptor as assigned
Collaborate across interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements:
Active NYS RN License
(must be in hand before start)
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience
Telemetry experience required
Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Required Certifications:
BLS
– American Heart Association ONLY
