Job Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled Structural Engineers with specialized expertise in structural fatigue analysis, particularly for offshore floater hulls. This is an urgent, short-term contract opportunity for professionals proficient in Femap and Nastran to provide critical support to ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive structural fatigue analysis of offshore floater hulls and related components. Develop and review finite element models using Femap. Perform advanced structural analyses, including fatigue calculations, using Nastran. Interpret analysis results and provide actionable engineering recommendations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with project teams to integrate fatigue analysis findings into design decisions. Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations of analysis methodologies and results. Required Skills & Experience:
Mandatory:
Extensive, proven experience in
offshore floater hull structural fatigue analysis . Mandatory:
Demonstrated proficiency with
Femap
for pre/post-processing and finite element modeling. Mandatory:
Strong expertise in
Nastran
for performing complex structural analyses. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Ocean, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. In-depth understanding of fatigue principles, fracture mechanics, and relevant offshore structural design codes (e.g., API, ABS, DNV). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
