Title: Power BI Developer

Job Summary:
job involves designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, which includes building data models, optimizing data pipelines, and gathering business requirements from stakeholders. Key responsibilities include collaborating with teams, ensuring data quality and compliance, and providing support for Power BI tools and processes. Required skills include strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop (including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling), experience with data sources like cloud databases, and good communication and problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain BI solutions: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Gather and interpret data requirements from business and operational leaders to align with business processes and objectives.
Manage data and processes: Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, refine data models, and ensure the accessibility and timeliness of data.
Ensure compliance and quality: Adhere to internal IT policies, data privacy, and regulatory requirements. Perform reviews to identify gaps and implement improvements.
Provide support and training: Offer troubleshooting support for Power BI issues and provide training to users on how to navigate and utilize the tools.
Manage projects: Oversee the lifecycle of data visualization projects from inception to deployment. Required qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience developing Power BI dashboards in an enterprise environment.
Technical skills:
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience connecting to various data sources, such as cloud databases (e.g., Databricks). Strong SQL skills, including writing queries with joins. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts like ETL, star schemas, and relationships.
