We are hiring a strategic Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Quality Manager will oversee a team of quality professionals, drive continuous improvement, and ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations. This role requires expertise in 8D problem-solving, 5Why analysis, and statistical process control (SPC) to maintain high standards and support the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer requirements.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes using 8D problem-solving and 5 Why methodologies to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor production processes, identify trends, and drive data-based decision-making.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of quality engineers, technicians, and inspectors to achieve departmental goals and maintain a culture of accountability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain) to integrate quality standards into product design and manufacturing processes.
Develop and execute strategic quality initiatives to support business objectives, including cost reduction, process optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular audits, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics to senior leadership.
Drive continuous improvement programs to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
Manage supplier quality, including audits, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree ).
7-10+ years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in quality tools and software (e.g., Minitab, SPC software, ERP systems).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically and align quality objectives with business goals.
Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ CQE, CQM, Six Sigma) is a plus.
