About the Opportunity

We're seeking a hands-on

Quality Engineer

with strong experience in

electronic components manufacturing -particularly

inductors, surface mount, or power components . This position is a key member of a small, highly technical engineering team responsible for ensuring product and supplier quality across a global supply chain.

The role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys collaborating across departments, solving complex quality challenges, and traveling internationally to audit and improve supplier performance.

markets. With ISO-certified facilities and a reputation for technical excellence, they maintain a strong global supply chain focused on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead supplier quality audits and assessments (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 compliance).

Develop and implement supplier Quality Control Plans and procedures.

Drive corrective and preventive actions (8D, root cause analysis).

Support continuous improvement and supplier development initiatives.

Conduct statistical process control (SPC) analysis, including CPK and control charting.

Lead supplier performance evaluations using quantitative and qualitative metrics.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and production teams.

Support new supplier qualification, onboarding, and training.

Manage PCN/ECN processes and ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, and other standards.

Coordinate with global quality teams to manage improvement programs and customer issues. Qualifications

Required:

Technical background in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.

5+ years of experience in

quality assurance

within

electronic components manufacturing .

In-depth knowledge of

inductors, power components, or surface mount technologies .

Expertise in

ISO 9001 / IATF 16949

standards, quality tools, and auditing.

Skilled in

SPC ,

8D , and

root cause/corrective action methodologies .

Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to travel internationally (approx. 3-4 times per year). Preferred:

Experience with environmental reliability testing (thermal, vibration, humidity).

Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 tools.

Knowledge of FMEA, PCN/ECN management, and compliance testing standards. Why Join
