As a
Screening Analyst , you'll be the first line of analysis on Arbor's loan pipeline. You'll work closely with managers, originators, and underwriters to evaluate transactions, model deal structures, and surface key risks and opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in commercial real estate finance.
What You'll Do
Support deals from
initial screening through underwriting handoff . Collect, review, and analyze financial statements, rent rolls, and market data to
model debt structures
in Excel. Size and price loans using Arbor's standardized templates and GSE policies. Review borrower pro-formas and identify key issues/risks early in the process. Conduct preliminary
credit reviews
and borrower due diligence. Research market conditions using third-party sources and present findings. Collaborate with originators and underwriters to move applications forward efficiently. Expand your
multifamily and CRE knowledge
through formal training and industry events. What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field. Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
(modeling experience strongly preferred). Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to juggle multiple priorities. Analytical mindset with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Curiosity and initiative to learn the complexities of real estate finance. Prior internship or work experience in commercial real estate or finance is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
$60,000 - $65,000, plus discretionary performance-based bonus. Benefits:
